Our Options

Print Materials:

Forrest Media currently offers three unique print mediums to choose from in store:

Fine Art print - True tonal colour in fine art photography’s most popular medium. Prints are materialised across the unique giclee (jee-clay) process, which utilises state-of-the-art 2880dpi printing technology, implementing stunning archival Ultra Chrome pigment ink directly onto your print. Fancy stuff, that ultimately translates into a high quality artwork to bring your home together.

These prints can be framed with either oak, white or black Standard and Box frames. Alternatively, they can also be purchased with no frame and as a rolled up poster instead. This medium is perfect to achieve that ‘exhibition feel’ on your wall!

Canvas - Available with either an Oak Profile frame or unframed option. All unframed Canvas prints are stretched around their sides to enhance the 3D effect of the 2D artwork on your wall, and are fitted with a string across the back to hang.

Canvas is particularly desirable for those looking for a high quality product at a reduced price point. Canvas also has a uniquely appealing rough surface that is both immersive and visually stunning to the eye.

Metal print - Recommended for our automotive prints for its reflective characteristics, the Alumalux (A-loo-ma-lux) medium is guaranteed to incorporate a sharp and modern feeling on any surface. All metal prints are produced with high gloss finish, allowing all tones to really punch through the frame, and for your print to draw seriously emphatic attention. Alternatively, if you have a specific medium in mind, please don’t hesitate to fill a contact form for a closely involved custom order!

We also cater for Acrylic; a popular alternative to Metal print, which lessens the metallic reflective detail of an image, but still produces that 3D look. You can choose from ice block or sandwich finishes, contact to request a quote, see our producer’s extended information about Acrylic prints here.

Frames:

We provide three different types of frames, specific to their relative mediums.

Standard (Oak, White, Black) - For Fine Art prints only. The classic frame which you can never go wrong with. Each frame is in combination with a clear and colourless glass overlay protecting the surface of the image from the elements. See more examples from our print producer here.

Box (Oak, White, Black) - For Fine Art prints only. Similar to Deep Set frames, Box frames achieve a look that really sinks the artwork into your wall. Each frame is in combination with a clear and colourless glass overlay protecting the surface of the image from the elements. See examples from our print producer here. If you’re specifically looking for a Deep Set frame on a Forrest Media artwork, please fill a contact form to request a quote, examples can be found here.

Oak Profiled - Specific to Canvas prints only, this frame surrounds the Canvas with enclosing aesthetic oak that hugs the print and blends it to your wall. Contact if you’re interested in other colour options, or alternatively, unique Raw Dune frame options.

Note Metal prints cannot be framed. Custom Acrylic prints can be Box framed upon request, contact for more.

If you have any other frame choices in mind, contact for a closely involved custom order. We also do Ornate, Portofino, Cottage, Dune and Renaissance frames.

Framing collections can be requested (framed prints organised in a unique series), contact for more.

Matboard options:

During your order, selecting the ‘Add Mat’ option at any product page (rather than the ‘No Mat’ option) will ensure your print is produced with a clean border that surrounds the image.

This splits the image from the frame, and when combined with your specific wall colour, naturalises a blend between the print, its frame, and the wall which it sits. It is a very popular choice due to this adaptability.

Currently our ‘Add Mat’ option will assume a WHITE mat for your order, as reciprocated in all preview images. Each mat is precisely centred, and its size will depend on the size of your print. Rest assured, whichever size print you choose, the added mat option will meet your needs, effectively assimilating the print to your wall!

Returns:

Should you find the print you have purchased defective, you as the buyer have the right to request a full refund of the product within 30 days after delivery. Please note this excludes any damages occurring during shipping,

Just fill in a contact form requesting a refund, and we will respond as soon as possible to collect the necessary information to refund your purchase. The full purchase price will be repaid only after we have received the print. By purchasing your print you are agreeing to this.

Therefore, if you intend to use any Forrest Media works for reproduction related purposes (re-share, journalism, etc.), please ensure to credit/tag Forrest Media when doing so. If you’re an artist intending to use our media for inspirational purposes, such as paintings, re-edits, etc. please ensure credit is given there also, with the artwork name titled on the back of your work (e.g. ‘FM xxxx - name’). We do not permit direct commercial sale of our artworks outside of Forrest Media (you can however sell Forrest Media prints if they are second hand).
